The Service Club of Andover has been supporting the EXCEL program at High Plain Elementary School for years. Last Thursday, Joanne Heim of the club attended the cooking club breakfast which is an integral part of the programming for the participants who are primarily developmentally disabled children.
Heim was very moved by the event and comments:
We have been supporting this program for many years now and the breakfast has grown in develpment and also the number of children in the program has increased as well. I was very impressed with the children and the teachers, and proud to say our club's name is behind it.
